the Indian River, due to the fact that the water is generally clear will
offer ample opportunities to experience this type of fishing. Redfish
(3-12lbs) will frequent water so shallow their backs are exposed and the
giants (15-40lbs) are often seen in 3-6 feet of water finning on the
surface. These fish will take live as well as artificial baits if presented
properly |

and the best way approach and catch these fish is moving slowly and stealthy
by the use of a push-pole and NOT by run and bump tactics. |
